Deronda Works · IPMI for international teams

Covered is not the same as handled.

One place where a company, its people and its broker see the same thing: what the policy actually covers, what the broker agreed to do, and what has happened since. For international private medical cover.

Employers

Your policy, your roster and your claims in one place — and every duty your broker agreed to, with the date it was due.

Employees

What you are covered for, taken from your insurer’s own schedule. How to claim, and which of the two people to call.

Brokers

Your book, your renewals and your requests — and one record your clients can read without asking you for it.

Funds

Oversight of the companies you back, showing money only where that company has turned sharing on.

Why you can believe the screen

  • 85 boundary tests — run before every release, each proving a named role cannot reach something
  • Every cover level cites its source — the insurer's document, named and dated
  • Nothing unsourced ships — we have removed our own best slides rather than estimate
what we hold, and who sees it

The commission, before you sign

10%

Broker 7.5% plus Deronda 2.5%, written down before you sign and never edited afterwards. A correction is a new dated entry, because the ledger cannot be rewritten by anyone — including us.

ask us anything about it

What your broker is paid,
in the open, forever.

Commission, disclosed

You see the whole of it — 7.5% to the broker, 2.5% to Deronda. Written once, never edited; a correction is a new dated entry and both stay visible.

Duties, timestamped

What the broker owes you is a list with dates. If something stalls, it is chased — and you watch that happen.

Privacy, by design

Employers see claims as aggregates, never who claimed. That is enforced in the database, not promised in a policy.

How Deronda is paid.
Two flows, deliberately separate.

One of them moves with your premium and one of them does not. Keeping them apart is what stops anyone here being better off when your insurance costs more.

the commercial model, one page (PDF)

The placement — 10% of premium

Commission on the insurance, paid by the insurer out of your premium: 7.5% to the broker, 2.5% to Deronda. Agreed once, disclosed in full, and never edited afterwards.

The software — per employee, per month

Billed to you directly and banded by size, from £8.00 a head for the smallest schemes down to £3.75 for the largest. It covers every surface, including the ones your people use.

What we never do

Take undisclosed commission, share it with a fund or an introducer, or charge your employees anything to use their own cover.

Why they are separate

The software fee does not move when your premium moves. So when your renewal comes in higher, nobody at Deronda earns more for it — which is the difference between an adviser and a percentage. It is also why the two are billed by different people, on different terms, and shown to you as two lines rather than one.

Illustrative, on a stated premium. A 100-life scheme at a £220,000 annual premium pays £22,000 in commission across the whole of intermediation — £16,500 of it the broker's, £5,500 ours — plus £7,800 a year for the software. We do not know what your current arrangement charges, because it is usually not disclosed. That is rather the point.

Why Deronda exists

The whole product is an argument with that sentence.
