The public site sets none

Reading deronda.works sets no cookies at all, stores nothing in your browser, and makes no requests to any other company — no fonts loaded from elsewhere, no analytics, no embedded video, no advertising pixels. That is why there is no cookie banner: a banner asking permission for nothing is theatre, and it trains people to click through the ones that matter.

Signing in sets one

CookieWhat it is forHow long
sb-…-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in and tells the server which records are yours. Without it every page would ask for your password again.Until it expires or you log out

It is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, so it does not require consent — but you should know it exists, which is the point of this page. It is set as SameSite=Lax, so it is not sent when another site links to us.

What we do not do

  • No analytics or product-usage tracking, on any surface.
  • No advertising or remarketing pixels.
  • No third-party scripts, fonts or embeds.
  • No profiling of what you read. Your employer cannot see which articles you opened, and neither do we build anything from it.

This is a position rather than an oversight. An employee benefits product that quietly measured which employees were reading about mental health support would be a different product, and not one worth building.

More detail on what is held and who can see it is in the privacy notice.
